Tornado Scatters CU Employees, Floods Keep Midwest Wary.(Mid American CU )

WICHITA, Kan. -- Mid American CU was still trying to find its Greensburg branch employees and assess damage to that facility after a tornado essentially wiped the small town off the map last week.

At the same time, CUs in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri were nervously eyeing the flooding Missouri River. Although the flooding had already overtaken small towns in those states, at press time no credit unions were affected.
