Designer Italian Brands Offer Best Hope to Revive Country's Equity Markets.

Nov. 23--MILAN, Italy--Italian designer brands and fashion companies, such as Ferrari and Prada, could revive Italy's equity markets next year as firms that postponed floats during the downturn look at listing with renewed interest.

Recent research has added to the optimism, highlighting the appeal of design stocks for investors and the need for Italian companies to find investment to compete internationally.
