SAN FRANCISCO -- URS Corporation (NYSE: URS) today announced that it is one of six firms that has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract by the U.S. Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest, to perform remedial
As the U.S. Navy issues specific task orders under the contract, URS will compete with the other five firms to provide support services, such as remedial actions, removal actions, remedial design, operation and maintenance, pilot and treatability studies, and other related activities. The five-year, multi-award contract has a maximum value of $100 million.
