Polk County, Fla., Sees Strong Construction Numbers in November 2003.

Jan. 8--LAKELAND, Fla. -- Polk County construction was stronger in November than in the same month in 2002, despite the housing industry having slowed from its record-setting autumn pace last year, according to The Ledger's November Business Barometer.
