Dec. 18--If Tuesday's public hearing is any indication, the Monroe County Commission is about to straddle a chasm between quality growth and personal privacy.
The commission heard comments from home builders about what the county should do about enforcing state building codes.
"I'm not for (enforcement) or against it," said Morgan Harvey, a Bolingbroke plumber with 30 years of experience. "If we do it, I'd like it to be done properly."
