Apr. 13--HAMPTON, Va. -- City officials have figured out how to meet expectations for the convention center -- change the goal.

The city and its consultant for the project, Economic Research Associates, recently revised their projections for hotel room rentals during the convention center's first year.

By cutting the target for room reservations by a third, the city now says it has commitments for 85 percent of the hotel rooms that they project convention-goe
