The new 185-ton CNC press brake features a 14' bed. "We listen to our customer's needs and react," stated rmp's Jim Skinner. "That's why we added this press brake, to handle larger parts for our customers."
The new Amada press brake adds to rmp's wide assortment of fabricating equipment. Other equipment at the company includes: six shears (up to 13'); three roll machines (up to 14'); two laser cutting systems; six press brakes; two turret punch presses and numerous pieces of welding equipment (including a robotic welder).
The 43-year-old company serves a large number of industries with prototype, custom and longrun production of parts and assemblies.
Today, the company's 50 employees operate in two buildings with 62,500-sq.-ft. of space.
rmp works with stainless steel, aluminum, hot and cold rolled steels, brass and copper. Most of the company's work is on material up to 1/4" thick.
The company is working towards ISO certification.
