Aug. 22--BEC World Plc, the operator of television Channel 3, next year will start to pull back its airtime operated by independent producers and assign the role to one of its subsidiaries in a bid to boost advertising revenue.
The company said the airtime pulled back from independents would pose no risks in maintaining operations and that programmes would be mainly produced for niche markets.
Currently, programming by outside producers makes up 30 percent
