DMA telephone preference service
file maintained by the Direct Marketing Association of people who have requested their home phone numbers be deleted from telephone promotion call lists. The file is available to all telephone marketers on a subscription basis, either monthly or quarterly. State managed Do Not Call lists in Florida and Oregon are not included on the DMA file. The DMA hopes to forestall legislation by promoting voluntary measures such as this to reduce unwanted calls.
